The new website will include, among other features, an events calendar, community blog and photo galleries, adaptability for mobile devices, a way to directly collect membership dues, and a robust business directory complete with an interactive map. In February, the Oak Park executive board published a request for proposals in the community newsletter and social media outlets and received 3 very competitive proposals. After over a month of deliberation, the executive board selected Project Strangefate as the winning bid.
The vote of the board will be ratified by the members at our next community meeting on April 4th. The founders, Greg Wilson and Richard Ross, are both Oak Park residents. You can view their work at http://www.projectstrangefate.com/ . The new website is expected to go live within the next few months. Stay tuned for updates!
